Clara

Lead Veterinary Technician

Clara has been passionate about veterinary medicine for over 7 years, embracing every moment of her journey. She has a special love for surgery, caring for pets of all ages—from playful puppies and kittens to wise senior companions—and supporting pet owners with compassion and dedication.

Clara thrives working with a diverse range of patients in various environments and is thrilled to be part of the Peak Veterinary Hospital team. When she’s not caring for animals, Clara enjoys spending time at home with her two furry babies, Macaroni and Stella. Outside of work, she loves painting, being outdoors, and listening to music.

Taylor

Lead Veterinary Technician

Born and raised in Colorado, Taylor has always had a deep love for animals and adventure. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Sciences from Colorado State University and has been dedicated to animal care ever since.

At home, Taylor’s life is full of furry friends and little humans—she has two dogs, two cats, two kids, and is expecting baby number three! When she’s not at the clinic, you’ll likely find her hiking, wakeboarding, or chasing her busy crew outdoors.

Tisha

Lead Veterinary Assistant

Tisha has always known her career would involve working with animals. She began her studies in wildlife biology at the University of Montana and even spent time in Thailand studying tree frogs. About ten years ago, she shifted her focus to companion animals, dedicating herself to caring for dogs and cats.

After moving around the country, Tisha settled in Denver to be closer to the mountains she loves. She now lives in Denver with her dog Zoe and cat Squeak.

Tatum

Veterinary Assistant

Born and raised in Colorado, Tatum discovered her passion for veterinary medicine early in life. When she received a Golden Retriever puppy named Dublin for her 11th birthday, she quickly realized he wasn’t as playful as other puppies. After Dublin was diagnosed with bilateral hip dysplasia and underwent surgery on both hips, Tatum accompanied her mom to his weekly physical therapy sessions. This experience inspired her to pursue a career helping animals.

Tatum began working as a veterinary assistant in 2020 and has loved every moment since. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, snowboarding, thrifting, spending time with family, and playing video games. At home, Tatum shares her life with two St. Bernards, Max and Dozer.

Kristina

Head Receptionist

Kristina is a proud Colorado native with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sculpture and a minor in History from Metropolitan State University of Denver. While her education is rooted in the arts, her love for animals, passion for helping people, and desire for a meaningful, non-art-related career led her to the veterinary field, where she found her true calling. Since 2014, Kristina has been a dedicated member of the veterinary community and is excited to serve as Head Receptionist at Peak Veterinary Hospital.

Outside of work, Kristina and her husband Brandon enjoy exploring used bookstores, visiting American battlefields, and discovering off-the-beaten-path museums. She also loves learning new crafts and experimenting with recipes in the kitchen. At home, Kristina shares her life with three cats—Bill, Monroe, and Carlota—each with their own unique story.

Anne
We had our first visit at Peak Veterinary Hospital and it was wonderful! Both of our dogs were more relaxed than at any other veterinary practice:). We also saw some familiar faces which made us feel right at home. The tech and the veterinarian took time getting to know our dogs and us! Very clean and welcoming and it's clear the entire team enjoys being there. We are very happy with the plan for both dogs and felt we were heard and honored. HIGHLY recommend this friendly, professional, reasonably priced practice!
David
Doc Annie and her staff are very professional, attentive, and kind. The place is clean and efficient. One of our animals got sick and we loved the attention and care this place provided. Even when they are busy they still made time to see our beloved doggo and answered all of our concerns. Doc even followed up on her own time, which I thought was awesome to see how much she loves her job and cares for our animals. We're so happy to have a good veterinary office so close! Highly recommend if you live in the area.
William
We took our little old lady in to get checked up and she had a great time. She is usually very scared of going to the vet clinic so the staff went above and beyond to be very welcoming and warm to her. I would highly recommend Peak for your pets needs.
Marci
Took my 11 year old basset mix, Ginger, in for joint pain and Dr. Annie gave her exceptional care. She did a thorough assessment and explained in detail all possible treatments options with her recommendations. She gave extra time and attention to make sure all of my concerns were addressed. Highly recommend!
Scot
Great vet. Very personable and professional. Good prices as well. If you are in Roxborough or Stirling Ranch I highly recommend this vet.
Nell
We've taken our pupper to Peak Veterinary twice this month and we, as well as he, are very impressed. He was more relaxed there than he has been at other vet's. They took their time and put him at ease. His exam was disguised as just being loved on and he even got to sniff the stethoscope before it was used. We will be returning to Peak for all our pupper's needs. Also, prices are great! We've had sticker shock the last few times we've taken him to our last vet, but not at Peak.
Emily
I’ve now taken my dog and my cat here! Both times they were wonderful experiences, I felt like the whole team took time to get to know my pets! Dr. Annie even took the time to explain to my 5 year old daughter what she was going to do to our new puppy! Love!
Lauren
My dog deals with chronic skin issues and has his whole life. I have never had a vet give me answers, help, and even offer to connect me with a dermatologist for my dog until coming here. Finally, HOPE is out there. Today he was vomiting and they fit me in right away, handled him with so much care, and listen. I often feel horrible about his issues but they validate me and are compassionate and help me find new tools to help him and by default, me. Their pricing is extremely reasonable and they check in throughout care to confirm next steps. They work with you, listen, and care. This used to be roxpaw vet and the reviews there speak for itself. The name might be new, but this staff has been doing incredible work for a long time.
Jessica
Dr. Annie and her staff took great care of our dog. She was sick with diarrhea and vomiting. We took her in and they administered subcutaneous fluids, gave us special dog food and instructions on how to proceed until she got better. Highly recommend!
Molly
Dr Annie is the best vet we've ever found! Trust your loved furballs to her, and she and her staff will treat them like loved family members!
Pamela
Dr Annie is Excellent. She is so patient and gentle on our dog who typically is very nervous around vets.
John
Peak Veterinary Hospital new to the community of Roxborough Park! I got to admit I am very impressed with the new practice! First of all I really liked how they kept some of the old staff that was at the previous practice and brought them on so that way my dog at least saw a few familiar faces. I am very impressed with the new veterinarian and I was very grateful to establish new care with her! She was very attentive and listened and provided really good feedback and suggestions without being pressuring and made me feel that my voice was me and heard whenever I was explaining concerns about my pet! One thing that I need to express is the new veterinarian will not pressure you to do anything that is unnecessary or would not be of any benefit to your pet, I highly respect that! I encourage everyone to look into establishing care with this new provider! Highly recommended!
Lisa
Really like the changes this veterinary clinic has made. Dr. Lorenzen is so nice and really takes the time to hear about my dogs. It is very clean and welcoming and staff is very helpful.
